TolumiDE was born as Tolulope Olumide (which translates to “Thanks and Praise to God” in the Yoruba Language), in Canada and raised in Nigeria. TolumiDE is a singer-songwriter in the Urban Soul genre, her music is a fusion of R&B, Afro-pop, and Contemporary Gospel.
TolumiDE was a member of the popular Canadian all-female band called “Women Ah Run Tings”. The group produced an eclectic collage of music fused with Dancehall, Roots Reggae, R&B, Rock and Hip Hop. The group are four-time Canadian Reggae Award Nominees, and opened up for artists like Burning Spear and Beenie Man.
